Stories give us hope, make us laugh, make us cry, they show us we’re not alone in our struggles. Stories teach us how to live. And help us destress on the couch.

I love generating new story ideas and concepts like nothing anyone’s ever seen… which is ideal for me since I do stories for a living. Honestly, I can’t imagine doing anything else - nothing can come close to the intoxicating beauty of creation. Whether it’s writing, directing, or anything else on a project, each of those roles are chances to create something new or enhance what’s already there.

My six years of professional screenwriting, unique style, love and knowledge of story, emphasis on feedback, and commitments to patience and communication give me the tools I need to thrive in this industry.

I write across and film all genres. Most well written stories focus on character, so it’s easy to find footing in any genre if you can connect with the characters. Once you’re there, it’s a blast leaning into the genre conventions or intentionally breaking them. I love getting lost in the world of my stories, to really play in the space where the characters live. At a certain point it’s almost as if they write themselves and I’m just following with ink.

As a filmmaker, I’m comfortable in many roles on and off set. My favorites would be that of writer and director, but I also gladly work as a producer and editor. Writing and editing are great ways to explore a story. Directing and producing are both exciting chances to lead the charge on a project. On shoot days I always share that I run a kind set with emphasis on patience and being kind to one another.
